THE builder for a housing development on the former East Greenwood Primary School site has been announced.
Frasers Property Australia and the Department of Communities have appointed New Level Homes, part of the JWH Group, to design and deliver the two-storey residential homes for the East Green project.
This will include a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes for the projects turn key house and land packages, with most to overlook landscaped parkland.
The builder will also provide other design choices for land lot buyers, with a range of options that can be tailored to different tastes, budgets and needs.
Spanning 3.86ha at 63 Mulligan Drive, East Green will accommodate between 80 and 100 new homes.
Civil works are almost finished, with landscaping on track to finish soon.
The announcement follows a registration of interest campaign in March, which attracted more than 675 submissions.
“So far, interest from families has been particularly strong,” Frasers Property Australia WA residential WA general manager Tod O’Dwyer said.
“Families are being attracted by the outdoor lifestyle the community will offer, with extensive walkways and plenty of open spaces.”
New Level Homes general manager Jim Ilias said the projected demanded high quality housing with an emphasis on sustainability.
This includes the project being awarded a five start rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
“We are well under way with our designs and the planning process,” he said.
“We understand the needs of the modern family can be quite different and are proud to be able to showcase our advanced build techniques and innovative home designs.”
Sales for the first stage are anticipated to launch in the second half of this year.
