Residential Building WA a natural fit at East Green

Frasers Property Australia and the Department of Communities have appointed award-winning builder Residential Building WA to design and deliver turnkey two-storey residential homes at East Green, with artists’ impressions offering a sneak peek of what’s to come at the new Greenwood community.

Frasers Property Australia General Manager Residential Western Australia Tod O’Dwyer said working with Residential Building WA was a natural fit given the company’s depth of experience and familiarity with the types of integrated communities Frasers Property created.

“We have every confidence in Residential Building WA’s ability to deliver residential homes of extraordinary quality, and are looking forward to working together to bring the project to life,” he said.

Residential Building WA, a part of JWH Group, Residential Building WA has designed a variety of site-considerate two-storey homes with two, three, and four-bedroom configurations for the project’s turnkey house and land packages.

The builder will also provide other home design choices for land lot buyers, offering a wide range of options that can be tailored to different tastes, budgets, and needs.

Spanning 3.86 hectares in Greenwood, when complete East Green will accommodate between 80 and 100 new homes, located 17km from the Perth CBD.

Designed with health and positive wellbeing in mind, the East Green development has a green focus, with more than 50 per cent of its housing overlooking an expansive parkland which incorporates existing native and grass trees with new turfed areas and plantings. The project has been awarded a five-star Green Star – Communities rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

Residential Building WA’s General Manager Jim Ilias said the company was thrilled to be involved in the East Green project.

“There is a lot to be excited about at East Green. Frasers Property expects a very high quality of housing with an emphasis on sustainability, and this project demands both,” he said.

“We are well underway with our designs and the planning process.”

Mr O’Dwyer said there had been plenty of interest in the development to date.

“It’s encouraging to see 675 expressions of interest so far, numbers which have exceeded our expectations,” he said.

Sales for the first stage are anticipated to launch in the second half of this year.
