Introducing the 2018 Telethon Home at The Hales by Residential Building WA!

The 2018 Residential Building WA Telethon Home at The Hales is officially here!

The 450 sqm block has been partly donated by Satterley Property Group and The Hales Estate, where this year’s Telethon Home will be located. Read on to find out what it would feel like to be The Hales Estate’s newest resident by becoming the winning bidder on the 2018 Residential Building WA Telethon Home at The Hales.

What is the Channel 7 Perth Telethon?

The Channel 7 Perth Telethon is the highest fundraising (per capita) Telethon in the world, created by and belonging to the community of Western Australia, who have successfully raised more than $268 million since its early beginnings in 1968.

Through Telethon, generous donations have ensured the best quality services and support both now and in the future for our children and young people. Continuing to financially support their medical and social wellbeing, the people of WA have had a major impact in young lives.

A great example of WA companies coming together to contribute and make a difference in the lives of sick children in the State, the Telethon Home is a major contributor to the Telethon Weekend. Over the years, Residential Building WA, JWH Group and our partners have helped raise over $13.2 million and we can’t wait to continue this effort in 2018.

Meet the 2018 Residential Building WA Telethon Home at The Hales!

The Location

One of Satterley’s most exciting new estates, enjoy the leafy surrounds of the Kalamunda foothills at The Hales. Nestled in the heart of Forrestfield and located 15 km east of Perth CBD, the estate is close to natural bushland whilst still having all of modern life’s necessities nearby.

Offering connected living in an established community, The Hales is not far away from shopping centres, schools, the airport, public transport and major road infrastructure. This means you can enjoy a peaceful country lifestyle while still remaining close to pre-existing amenities.

Designed with contemporary liveability in mind, The Hales takes advantage of the its natural surroundings. Featuring quality open spaces, all houses are centred around a substantial strip of parkland and built around existing native Marri and Jarrah trees and the trickling waters of Crumpet Creek.

A wonderful family environment boasting ten landscaped parks and two playgrounds, The Hales is your opportunity to live surrounded by tranquil natural bushland and waterfalls. Once complete, The Hales is expected to be home to more than 1,100 residents including the proud owner of the 2018 Residential Building WA Telethon Home at The Hales.

The Design

Mixing design elements from The Hale’s country surroundings with Residential Building WA signature coastal style, The 2018 Telethon Home at The Hales is set to impress. A custom designed 2 storey home, it makes a statement straight from the elevation by incorporating stone cladding alongside Scyon cladding.

With elements of nature playing a large role in our inspiration, the design highlights indoor/outdoor living, by bringing an abundance of light throughout the home. From the floor to ceiling windows in the master suite to the double slider doors leading onto the oversized patio, natural light floods the entire home.

Double entry doors lead on to an impressive foyer, private home theatre and study. Moving through the lower floor, you will also find the activity room which then leads onto the lower level alfresco as well as three minor bedrooms and bathroom.

The high raking ceilings in both the open plan living/kitchen/dining area and master suite are a standout feature of this year’s home, with a masterful oversized fireplace anchoring the living room.

Then completing the upstairs is a master suite with large walk-in robe, spacious bath as well as open sitting area at the entry. With views right from your bedroom window looking out over the country style landscaping of The Hales Estate, it’s hard not to find something to love about this year’s Telethon Home design.

The 2018 Residential Building WA Telethon Home at The Hales is now open to the public for viewing and will be sold by auction on site from 11am Sunday October 21st as part of the Telethon Weekend.
